Introduction

Numerous stakeholders, encompassing a wide array of organisations and individuals, contribute to the big data analytics and AI solutions lifecycle, especially in the design, development, and deployment of products and services, deriving actionable insights, and generating impact.

Identifying and engaging the relevant stakeholders in each setting is essential to forging effective partnerships. An element of interdependence occurs between and among stakeholders, as the concerns of one can be overcome through the enabling work of another. For example, public sector actors can change their regulatory frameworks to allow use of aggregated mobile data indicators, while still protecting the personal information of individual mobile users. Fundamentally, the potential overall benefits to society should be the guiding force for the ecosystem.
